Exploring Gua Tempurung and Ipoh

hehe!

SORRY ppl-ppl! it has been long since i updated my blog. why? sinple.. i'm lazy. haha! and now, after i got all the photos of the trip from Wei Ann, i must blog bout it. hehe! i cannot abandoned the blog i re-started. heehee..~

Gua Tempurung and Ipoh trip.

Sher Wi and Wei Ann planned a trip to Gua Tempurung and Ipoh. who went? Moi, Wei Ann, Sher Wi and Seprenna (Wei Ann's Uni mate). we left at 630am from my hse, fetched Sher and Sepre, off we started our long journey to Perak.

we traveled to perak in Ann's Mighty SLK. small little kelisa~ hehehe! 4 girls. juz nice!

along the journey~

stopped for toilet and breakfast. hehe! Sher brought us "chung" from her hse. we finished ur "chung" b4 continue the long journey. when we were about to leave, we saw a family having their breakfast too.. not quite normal like us. we juz stand and makan. they.. wow! put down a tikar on the grass, take out the food, sit around the and enjoy the morning breeze. except it was not far away from the toilet. eeew.. haha! juz makan cepat cepat and chow la. haha! not very far away from toilet, smelly la.. LOL.

we saw alot of caves along the journey. Juz caves.. alot! n being so jakun, i was quite fasinated by the caves and the stucture of different caves. (although from far la). hehe! i wanted to stay very alert and awake along the way, but i failed miserably. i slept at 4am and woke up at 5 coz Ann told me tat she was goin to fetch me at 530am. she came bout tat time, juz tat erm.. ya we din leave until it was 630am la. haha! sorry Ann for not temaning u (AWAKE) on the way there.

after few hrs l8r, we finally reach! fiuh..! long journey by car, not in my "likeable" list. haha!

DAH SAMPAI PUN!!! Gua Tempurung!!!
yeay.. we went to look around asking for the price and the time. mana tau. the next tour into the cave was NOW. as in SEKARANG! we rush back to our car to take our money to pay for the entrance fee and toilet b4 goin fo caving. we were arranged to follow a bunch of secondary school students and 2 small families. the minimun head per tour is 8. there were only 4 of us. if we do not follow tis group, we have to wait for the next tour. which is dunno when, depends on wat time is the next group of visitor comes.

none of us have either shock or water proof camera. and thus, there were no photos of us caving and the beautiful structure of the cave. wat did we do inside the cave? it wasnt juz stand and look around k. haha! we climbed stairs, walked;crawled;walked like a duck; along the cave. there were more. we slide down a wall of 3-5 storeys, climb into a small hole tat connects to the other side of the underground river. (thank god i fit the hole wahahaha!!!) the water was so cold. it was water all the way and until the end we climbed at 230++ over stairs to get out of the underground river. fiiiewwh...! tired wei! 230++ stairs non stop. i am no athletic! damn tired! if for bobby and jia mun, sure boleh la!!! hahaha! but at least i finish climbing the stairs w/out stopping to rest la. the only time we stopped is coz the person in front of me stop. i hope he continue coz when u wanna start again after u stop, it would be lagi tired. i think he beh tahan also.. haha!

after the stairs we were left alone by the instructor. it was one way.. all the way out. we wont get lost no matter wat. unless we walk out of the track la. hehe! we let the students go first. coz they were bising. we took a rest on top of the stairs and the instructor came to talk to us. maybe he realize tat we were not part of the F**king noisy students! i remember he talked about Kun Yam Pou Sat and Sau Xing Kung. he pronouns as "Sao Sehng Kong". (he's a malay) we were like WAT????! until 1 point he said it in English, "The god of Longevity". hahaha! Oh....~ some of us dunno wats tat but luckily i know la. haha! thx to the HKG dramas such as Shun Ng Hong. haha! (the way he pronouns 'kun yam pou sat' was very accurate!) we stopped walking when we reach the "wind tunnel". seriously got wind wan leh!! haha! and we were quite far away from the exit. i wonder whr the wind came from. it was windy and quiet. so nice...

and so we came out. haha! pandai kan, we din get lost. hehe! we were half to 1 hr behind the students. so when we came out, they were all siap mandi d. haha! the toilet all wangi and we can have the place all by ourselves! the toilet was quite clean.

Hungry la!

OMG! Sepre had our journey quite well planned. brought us to makan! our first solid food after few hrs of caving. woooow!! eat like mad ppl! i love the drinkssssss... and the sotong with kangkung! nice!

after makan makan, we headed straight to Sepre uncle's hse. our accomodation was free, provided by Sepre. hehe! we took a nap before goin out again at nite. we still look OK but our body was very tired. haha!

we wanted to have western food. we went round and round to find some nice cozy place to eat. ended up in erhm.. some restaurant.

and the food is not nice.. at all!! yucks!! sux!! well, mine sux la! overcooked salmon! taste worse than my old school canteen food. haha! not sure bout others. but the service was ok. the waitress tat served us was very frenly and helpful.

i wasn't feeling so well after dinner. but i know tat they wanted to go to some clubs or pubs to have a drink. and i dowan potong steam, so i juz tagged along. and to my surprise, i felt better inside the so-called club. it was a wine and dine place with loud music coming out from a lousy sound system. haha!

the ppl inside dun dance wan. haha! they went there for chit chat only. we saw some pretty girls tat dressed very nice! and we also saw some girls in t-shirt and jeans only. and some even in shorts and slippers. hmm.. i tot they wrote "casual smart, no slippers, no shorts" outside the place? nvm.. boring. we left after 1 hr. haha!

Moi and Wei Ann..! oh i remember. the place is called Sincero. if i'm not mistaken.

Ipoh Chicken Ho Fun!

this is super duper delicious lo!!! but too bad, i only tasted a bit. coz i wasn't feeling so well again!!! damn!!!! Wei Ann teman me to the toilet to puke. was feeling better after tat. but i lost my appetite. this dish was seriosuly yummylicios!!! aargh!! and the taugeh fat wan ok! not those thin thin wan u can find here. i wan to eat.. sob sob~

the place around this restaurant was very happening. it was already 2 in the morning, ppl r still coming out for food. there were few restaurants opened at this hour. shops selling packet food and souvenirs are all open! tats whr i bought the sak keh mah for Px, Linda, Jeff and Mun. tats y i dun remember wat brand i took. i was dizzy and in the verge of puking. haha! so i main ambik la w/out thinking much.

back home. mandi and tido!! haha! the next morning, we woke up 1 hr later than the alarm we set. haha! lazy la! breakfast-2 choices.

but since we woke up late, i guess the dimdum also habis d la. haha! no choice, so we went for wantan mee la!

No regret!! the wantan mee was superb!!! Sedaaaaaaaaaaap! but very small portion! too small tat we feel like ordering another 4 plates. haha! we had 4 plates of wantan mee, 3 bowls of thong sui, a plate of char kuey tiow, a plate of roti canai and roti planta. even the rotis there were crispy!!! yummy!

after visiting the temple, we cari makan again! haha! the parking ticket in Ipoh is very very different from KL/Kjg. we must buy parking ticket. but i cant find the machine tat sells it. then we saw ppl selling in a shop. but we must buy in bulk. as in per month. aiks. we only need it for that 1 hr la. haha! met some uncles tat parked in front of us. they gave us free. yeay~ haha! thank u!

the place was pack!!!!!!!!!! very pack!!!!!!!!! full house! we were lucky we got a place near the side door. it was windy! haha! i did not enjoy al the food we ordered. i only like a few but i LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEE the white coffee!!!!!! so nice tat i order 2 glasses for myself! wahahaha!!!

Gua Kek Lok Si!

i got a call from albert saying he is in KLIA now. on his way back home to surprise his parents! u think i believe u ah? siao wan! his parents are goin to UK in July for his convocation. tat fella. i think he was too bored tats y he came out with tis silly joke. haha! i hung up on him after a while coz the line wasnt so clear inside this place.

there was another cave opening at the end of the cave. go down the stairs.. and wahla.. a park. haha! it was quite beautiful but we decided not to go further. so we juz took some pics near the stairs.

a very nice trip. Jalan Jalan Cari Makan!! wow! hahaha! and caving. stg i nvr try b4 and nvr tot tat i would try. i was still afraid of goin into the cave few hrs b4 we reach Gua Tempurung. thanks to Wei Ann. haha! jaga me while we were inside. haha! k k.. we rushed home coz i need to get back by 10. Jeffrey came to fetch me to send andrew off to UK. haih... yes.. another journey by car. not near sumore. my ass also penyet d! haha!
