my keychain collection

i got nothing to do so i decided to clean up and rearrange my keychains which i kept it in a shoe box. haha! i always ask people to bring me back some keychains from the place they visit. dad being very helpful and supportive, brings back keychains from everywhere he went when he was on business trips. sayang papa! haha! that's not all. friends also being very kind when i asked them to bring me back some keychains from the country they visited. relatives got to know that me and my sister is a keychain freak, they put our request on their list-to-buy when they are on vacation in another country. how sweeeeet...! hehe!

spell checkers and dictionaries usually do not recognize the word keychain. there are many other words refer to keychains. for example key holder etc etc etc. for a keychain collector like me, i prefer to call it "KEYCHAIN" hehehe!

okie..these are some of the metal keychains i have in my collection. some are from local and mostly from other countries. yeay!

let's c. Australia, Austria, Holland, Italy, Germany, Melaka, Sarawak (i think), and etc.. haha! besides that, i also have keychains used as a mean of advertising. the football cup at the upright corner. it was from carlsberg. i have another carlsberg keychain, a saxophone. but i dun remember where i put it. hmm..! bad me! hate the short term memory lost when it attacks!

not only that. i also have animals keychains! haha! lots of them too! especially the koala bear. i used to have more of those. haha! dunno whr it went. it was a bit bored la. haha! but they are keychains and they are part of my collection so i must keep 'em! :)

koalas, turtle, elephants, dolphins, butterfly, fish, octopus, owls, etc. i have a number of fish keychains. but i was lazy to snap. hehe! it is made of wood. :) the reason y i have a lot of fish keychains is because my dad always bring home keychains from the exhibiton he attended. my dad exports tropical & ornamental fish, plants and other artificial aquarium decorations. that explains y i have so many fish keychains la. haha!

let's c.. i dun really remember whr are they originated from. but i do remember some la. some only la. i think some are from Thailand (those at the lower right). one of them was given by faye yin. the middle small boy&girl figure are from Holland, then the russian dolls at the middle of right side, the Matryoshka dolls are from Russia. duh? haha! given to me from Steph and Siok Chin. then im not sure which one. i think the biggest doll at the upper left side is from Laos or Myanmar. the one covered with plastic is from Yji if im not mistaken. :)

keychains from pangkor, sarawak, redang, kelantan and langkawi. those from langkawi.. aku beli sendiri punya! hehe! i also sempat grab a UCSI keychain b4 i left the university. and Convent too. haha! keychains represent melaka are featured in the previous pic. hehe! now where is my tower records keychain? hmmm???~

unique keychains with use!!!

the long red and yellow keychains are actually ash tray. for smokers. it was cute and unique. i want to keep it although i am not a regualr smoker. y give it to some smokers to use? they will dirty it and it wont looks nice anymore. better keep it to myself! haha! (the purpose of such creation is to protect the environment so that smokers dun simply throw they cigarette ans ashes, but c who is blocking the enviromentalist doing their work. haha!) oh ya, the cartoon cat's head figure lookalike is an ash tray also. haha! the avon keychain is used to put coins. mainly 20 cents coins. the keychain with angra word (i dunno wat it stand for) functions as a measuring tape. eeeks..!

my leather keychains are mostly represent brands, although some of them are brandless. hahaa! the one i love most is the cowboy hat keychain! hehehe! the kangaroo keychain is very nice to touch! hahaha! smooooothh...! from Zk. the black keychain in the middle is from Steph. it is made from stingray's skin. it is said to bring luck to anyone that rubs it. not sure if it's true. hmmm.. hahaha!

i got these rubber olympics keychains from my aunty early this year when she came home for CNY. wuuuhuu.. i din know it was so special and precious until i c my frens all want to get at least a keychain to remember the 2008 Beijing Olympic. wooot! jgn jeles! haha! grandma brought back another olympic keychain for me during her trip to Xinjiang. weeeeee~~ happy sial! hmm.. the other thing i want from Beijing Olympic is the plush toy of all the mascot. hehe! and ya bring me Micheal Phelps! haha! or Kobe Bryant or Ricky Rubio from Spain basketball team! hahaha! ok enough of Olympic or the sportsmen! haha!

keychains are one of the most common souvenir items. they are very inexpensive (i dun say it's cheap) and small to store both while traveling home and don't take up much room in a home. so ppl.. REMEMBER TO BUY ME KEYCHAINS NO MATTER WHERE U GO! HAHAHA! oh ya must be those that represent/resembles the place u go k. thank u! hahahaha!
